Experienced Services Programs (ESP)
Our Experienced Services Programs (ESP) are innovative, flexible, and cost-effective initiatives that connect that fulfill temporary administrative, scientific, technical, maintenance, and other priority needs of our federal government partners by utilizing talent focused, skilled experienced workers, age 55 and older, for projects in the federal government. Through ESP, experienced professionals can apply their expertise while supporting the unique missions and goals of our federal partner agencies.
Our ESPs add temporary capacity to any project to fulfill many needs, including, for example:
- Hard-to-find specialized skills for projects
- Mentors for new hires
- Temporary support in vacant positions, while you actively work to fill those vacancies
- Support technical, administrative, maintenance, or other projects
Through cooperative agreements, federal agencies provide funding to CWI Works to recruit, screen, place, and compensate ESP program enrollees. Federal staff provide oversight and technical guidance, while CWI Works manages payroll, timekeeping, recordkeeping, and administrative support for participants.
