Putting Experience to Work
America’s workforce is shrinking. By 2033, we’ll be short an estimated six million workers. At the same time, the number of older workers will continue to grow 3x faster than the number of workers age 25-54. Older workers bring reliability, practical know-how and loyalty. In fact, older employees, on average, remain in jobs more than 3x longer than younger workers. The Society of Human Resource Management found that only 17% of organizations have considered this trend’s longer-term impact on their organization. We partner with American businesses to change that. We connect employers to our national network of workforce development specialists, help them reach local talent, build programming aligned with their skill needs, and create custom partnerships aligned with their organizational goals.
ReadyBlueprint by CWI Works
Employers struggle to find qualified candidates and even when they do, they struggle to retain them. At the same time, more than a million older Americans are actively looking for work and millions more are eager but discouraged.
ReadyBlueprint by CWI Works was designed to bridge that gap by connecting employers with trained, dependable talent that’s often overlooked. We work with you to build a Skills Blueprint unique to your hiring needs, then identify and prepare older workers to step confidently into those roles.
We do the work and you make all the hiring decisions – no obligations, no shortcuts.

Security jobs are a surprisingly good fit for older workers, who exhibit the maturity and observation skills the industry requires. Allied Universal works closely with us to create a pipeline of trained older workers. In 2017, Allied Universal hired nearly 11,000 older workers as security professionals and in administrative roles. That’s over 7% of Allied Universal’s workforce!
