Our Programs
CWI Works partners with American businesses to connect them with a national network of work-ready older Americans, with Federal agencies on staffing solutions, and with older Americans on job training and placement.
About
We have led the way in workforce development, crafting innovative job training and placement programs to meet employers’ business needs and unleash the potential of our nation’s 60 million older American workers. We trace our roots to the National Council of Senior Citizens, launched in 1962 to support older Americans. We are now the only national entity dedicated exclusively to the job training and placement needs of American workers 50+. We partner with American businesses to connect them with a national network of work-ready older Americans, with Federal agencies on staffing solutions, and with older Americans on job training and placement. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
For Partners
CWI Works prepares older Americans for the jobs of the future by training them in essential skills rather than merely providing job search assistance. We are a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Rural America
CWI has been an important resource for older Americans living in rural communities for nearly six decades. Our network of job training and placement partners has relationships and expertise within rural communities that allow them to provide catered solutions to unemployed Americans as well as the businesses who hire them.
Veterans
CWI offers job training and placement for older Veterans who served in positions where their skills are less transferable into the civilian workforce. Our programs expand the marketable work skills of our older Veterans and connect them with businesses who recognize the value of their experience.
